Screen shot.
I was thinking about what to put up for my screen shot. but last minute I decided to change my mind on the direction for the commercial. I think with the product I am going to do an infomercial type.
I am taking a series of pictures and going to be transitioning from shot to shot. With me talking in the background. Simple. Making it to complicated will, in my opinion confuse people with the product.
Below are the pictures I will be using.

Storyboard
Apologizing for my extremely horrible art work! I decided that I wanted to keep it simple, where there is a good understanding of what I am trying to explain and sell. I want it to be kind of corny, and over the top.
-- It starts off with a man sitting in front of his computer with bills in his hands. His face obviously shows that he is upset about it. -- there will be a voice over throughout the entire thing.
--- Then it goes to a shot of him standing next to a table saying how he needs help, that he is over spending.
-- THen it shoots to him trying to get onto a shopping website and it is locked. He has a confused look on his face.
-- The next shot will be an explanation of the product and what it does.
- and the final scene will be him standing happy with thumbs up and some cash in his hand, because he isnt broke.
Again, I want it to be simple, not too complex but get to the point of what the product is. I guess you can look at it as an infomercial.

Questionare
1) What is your business?
Shopoholics.com
Why is this important: Some people do not know when to stop buying something. This is a program that companies can buy to protect themselves from people who dont have the money to purchase things on the website.
2) Describe your business in one sentence
We make business's better.
Why is this important: Without a good business, you are unable to make money, and grow.
3) Who is your target audience?
Women
Why is this important: With women, most of the time they buy things they either do not need, or they spend money they do not have.
4) Who are your competitors?
Anyone who has a program like this, or companies that do not believe in it.
5) What makes them better/worse than your product/service?
Its important to make sure that the people that are buying products on your website can afford them. Because most of the time you might get "paid" right then and there, but when their credit card doesnt end up working, or their check bounces you dont get paid, and you have to deal with the problems of it.
6) Do you currently have an identity?
7) (If your answer to #6 is no, skip this question) What do you like about it and what don’t you like about it?
Why is this important? Even if you plan to change the logo entirely, it’s good to keep an inventory about what specifically worked and didn’t work about your previous design in order to inform the new one.
8) How do you want your image to be seen in two years?
I see my business growing. Not fully developed because I think it takes a while for something to grow and become something that everyone will want to do. But Hopefully in two years there will be a big growth difference.
These following questions might seem silly, but their purpose is to help generate ideas.
9) If your company was an animal, what animal would it be and why?
An Elefant. This is big and powerful.
10) If your company/brand was a person, who would it be and why?
Someone not famous. My father. He is strong, sensitive, competitive. Someone I look up to.
11) If your company/brand was an object, what would it be?
The most popular object on the market.
12) If your customer was a cartoon character, who would it be?
Dont really know any cartoon characters!

Location
I have always wanted to go to Zurich, Switzerland. I was lucky enough to fly through it and actually go to Interlaken while studying abroad this past semester, but there is so much beauty in Switzerland you just cant see everything!

Vector.
I chose to do this photo because being a beginner with such a difficult program, I thought I would challenge myself and work mostly on the shadowing. It took a long time, and a lot of undoing, and redoing to get kind of close to where I wanted to get. Some things I would definitely still like to work on. I think if I had more than a week, which I know is a long time I would have more time to work with it, and explore more with the shape.
Having trouble finding the original photo again since I found it on google. Will keep looking for it, and when I find it I will post it!

Final LOGO Project
I found this project a little challenging. Never using this program before It was extremely frustrating and took many hours for the simplest project.
Anyways, with the project logo I decided to keep it classy and simple. I wasn't going to try and over do myself on my first project. With the idea of the lock I decided to incorporate it in the lettering itself. Since this logo is going towards a company that helps other websites hold security on who can buy what, and how much on their websites it would be a small logo at the bottom of the screen anyways. I didn't want to over do it so again, simple in my opinion is always the best way to go!

5 LOGOS
1. McDonalds
McDonalds is known for its logo of the amazing golden arches, but at the same time I feel like it has been the same for years. Im not saying they should change the "Golden Arches" per say, Im just feeling that this logo needs an upgrade.
McDonald's
2. Playboy
Whenever I see a bunny, I automatically think of the Playboy bunny logo. This is a classic, not to mention everyone knows it. Id have to say that something like this should not change. It is simple, and makes it point
Playboy
3. Starbucks
This logo was just recently updated, and to be honest I am not sure how much I actually enjoy it. I was always a fan of the other one and I am curious to see how the new logo has affected the sales of Starbucks coffee.
Starbucks Coffee
4. I LOVE NEW YORK
Being from New York I am definitely a big fan of the I <3 NEWYORK sign. The first thing that I think of when I think New York City is that logo on everything. Its classic, and I do not think needs to be changed.
I Love NY

5 Business ideas
1. Shopaholics
A website that most people that are interested in shopping will go to, but as much as its important to make money from this website, it will also put a limit on how much you can spend.
Before becoming a member you will have to fill out information telling this company how much money you make per week, and month, and how much you usually go online shopping. With this information we ( the company) will come up with a limit on how much you can spend per month due to the fact that " Shopaholics" usually overspend and do not have the money to do so!
Most clothing company's can use this company, and in the long run will make them money, because more people will use the website because its a respectful one that helps women, and men save their money, while still being able to get the clothes they want.
2. My Professor.com
Everyone is aware that there is a website called " Ratemyprofessor.com" and "Ratemyteacher.com"
Its something that students can go on and rate their professors, and helps future students of them decide whether or not they want to take a class with them.
This idea is a little different. "Myprofessor.com" Is a place where teachers can give ac credibility to themselves. Telling the students about themselves. Being honest, telling us how they teach, what their ethics of teaching is. Honesty is important and I think this would take a little while to pick up, and would take a little while for teachers, and professors to join, but it is something that will be good for Universities.
3. Voli Vodka
A low calorie Vodka that is new and taking big measures to becoming a very well known alcoholic beverage.
This Vodka only has 95 Calories and with the " Voli Challenge" if you drink this product all night you will not wake up with a hang over.
Most women are always looking for a way to keep their calorie count down while drinking, and this is definitely the way to do it! There are many different flavors, and it is starting to get a lot of celebrity endorsements. I think its important to make great logo's for this product, and have a lot of product placement for this to succeed.
